CAT interventions include environmental supports such as signs, checklists, alarms, pill containers, and the organization of belongings to cue and sequence adaptive behaviors in the individual\u2019s home. The interventions are individualized based upon a standardized assessment of each person&#8217;s needs and challenges. CAT has been shown to decrease rates of relapse and to improve multiple functional outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>This is 6.5 hours on eLearning training via eLearning modules. This course provides you with an advanced understanding of CAT treatment and is the final step to becoming a Certified CAT Practitioner. The course presents an in-depth review of the CAT model; detailed practices on assessments, structure treatment planning, and application of advanced interventions for various challenges faced by the individual; documentation of CAT services; utilizing Motivational Interviewing during CAT and differences of CAT and other evidenced based practices.<\/p>\n<p>Our CE credits have historically been recognized by most professional state licensing boards (Ie, Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Peer Specialist, Marriage and Family Therapist,\u00a0Employment Specialist, etc). However, this is not guaranteed. It is your responsibility to verify your continuing education requirements with your licensing board.
